Is fog machine smoke safe for indoor use?Expand
Yes. Our fog machines use water-based glycol/glycerin fog liquid that is non-toxic and safe for indoor events. The fog dissipates naturally and leaves no residue. However, ensure adequate ventilation in very small spaces, and keep the machine away from fire alarms.
How much fog liquid does a machine use per hour?Expand
Usage varies by model and intensity: a 500W machine uses about 30-50ml per minute of continuous output, while a 1500W unit uses 80-120ml per minute. A 1-liter bottle typically lasts 30-60 minutes of intermittent use. We recommend keeping 2-3 bottles as backup for longer events.
What's the difference between fog and haze?Expand
Fog machines produce thick, visible bursts of white smoke—great for dramatic effects and low-lying clouds. Haze is a thin, even mist that fills a room to make light beams visible without being obvious. For laser and beam effects, use fog or haze. For the 'dancing on clouds' wedding effect, use a fog machine with a low-lying attachment.
Can I use any fog liquid in these machines?Expand
We strongly recommend using JDN fog liquids, which are specifically formulated for our machines. Using incorrect fluid can clog the heat exchanger, void your warranty, and produce unpleasant odors. Our fog liquids come in apple, strawberry, vanilla, and orange scents.
Do fog machines come with a remote control?Expand
Yes, all our fog machines include a wired remote control for convenient operation. Some models also support DMX512 control for integration with your lighting setup. The 600W RGB model includes wireless remote control as well.
